Alex joined Jamestrong Packaging in September 2017 as CEO. He has over 25 years’ experience in the packaging industry, with broad business experience and strong networks in both private and public environments. He has been involved with M&A, industry and company restructure activity, strategy, sales and new business development and investor relations. He leads a team of our dedicated specialists in Australia and New Zealand.

Andrew has extensive can making knowledge and experience in both operational and technical areas. He’s played a key role in Jamestrong Packaging since 2002 heading up Improvement and Operations and Technical. He’s led most of the major capital projects including plant relocations and selection and installation of infrastructure. He uses his extensive global network of contacts in materials, equipment and can making processes to help give our customers a competitive edge.

Eyal has been with Jamestrong since 2008. Prior to that he spent seven years working in NZ in Supply Chain Management roles, predominantly in the packaging industry but also as consultant to Coca Cola Amatil. He has broad business experience, a strong IT background and has been heavily involved in ERP implementations, assimilation and business process improvement in a wide range of businesses.

Gary has over 30 years’ extensive business experience heading up several businesses units in senior management positions with top tier business such as Toll Logistics, Asciano/Patrick, Boeing and ICI/Orica. Gary’s blend of business experience and knowledge means he works closely with our business leaders and employees, aligning our business strategy and values with our people, building and organisational capability, creating a safe and compliant work environment.

Henk joined Jamestrong as the Group ICT Manager for ANZ in 2018, following a diverse range of operational and management roles spanning 25 years in Information and Technology industries. Henk is passionate about effective communication and operational excellence, with over 15 years experience in SOx and ITIL governance frameworks and a broad range of ICT skills and experience across enterprise technologies.

Peter is a thirty year plus veteran of the packaging sector and has significant general management and operational experience within the packaging industry, both in New Zealand and internationally. He has experience in Food, Pharmaceutical and Industrial packaging and is a firm believer in Lean Manufacturing philosophy and the benefits it brings to both the Manufacturer and Customers alike.

Simon joined Jamestrong Packaging in September 2009. He was appointed Finance Director in January 2018 after previously holding the position of Group Financial Controller. Simon has over 20 years’ experience in the finance sector and has been heavily involved in company investment and restructuring projects, strategic management, and corporate reporting and taxation.

Andrew brings to the business nearly 30 years’ experience in the packaging industry. Starting out as a trade qualified engineer at Containers Packaging, Andrew initially moved into technical sales roles across metal, plastics, cardboard and paper packaging. Taking on tertiary and post graduate studies, Andrew has held numerous senior roles in Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Consulting, and General Management, before returning to metal packaging with Jamestrong in early 2020.

Gavin has extensive can making knowledge & experience in both operational and technical areas. He’s played a key role in Jamestrong Packaging since 2006 in aluminium aerosol manufacturing, and later in food can manufacturing. He has managed projects for the installation of aluminium and food can plants. He uses his extensive global network of contacts in materials, equipment, and can making processes to help give our customers a competitive edge. Gavin has been in the can manufacturing industry for the past 29 years, with some of that time spent managing manufacturing plants in Europe.
